  1. i’ve always wanted to go to san carlos seminary to visit my friends there. wala nga lang ako kasama at medyo nahihiya ako. LOL!

stained glasses always remind me of churches. it’s like stained glasses = churches. that’s why i always kid my aunt that her house is like a church because her house’s windows are stained glasses.

hayaan mo, kapag napunta ka sa manila, samahan kita. God bless!

  2. aHA, galing pala Mariveles ang bagong header natin Bro! One of those penitents must be BU pleading for the salvation of his soul, apparently from his SH professor…Fiery art. yung sa san carlos, an enhancement from the Medieval mode, talagang palaban din…

desertfish, those are WOMEN penitents. should that be the case, it won’t be hell for me. hehehe…

  3. ayan. magpractice ka nang maging kodaker dahil papunta ka na naman ng pransya.. at marami ka ring makukunan ng litrato don.😀

  16. danda-danda naman ‘yong mga stained glass windows na yan…basta maganda lang sya, and the way i look at it there’s something about stained-glasses that makes a church more church-ee and the feeling of being on the holy place…basta ganun…

  21. Fave ko yung San Nicolas Tolentino – first pic.🙂 Looks like you’re also working at your photography skills ha! Nice pictures!😉

Another of my faves e yung sa Caleruega chapel in Batangas.

    Take care and God bless!

    thanks, pinky!
uy, i know Calaruega! maganda nga dun yung chapel nila, one of the favorite wedding chapels sa Luzon.🙂 God bless!

  22. magaling…magaling…

    salamat…salamat…

  23. Kapatid, ang ganda nitong idea mo ha. Those stained glasses looks so beautiful. I think I want to start taking pictures of these when I visit churches too… ang hirap lang kasi most of the time time backlit siya. It’s good maganda ang quality ng mga shots mo pa rin.

truth to tell, you cannever go wrong when taking pictures of stainglasses. photogenic sila, keith! i hardly adjusted my camera for it.

  24. I find Mt Carmel somewhat identical sa aming Cathedral, The Station of The Cross.

San Nicolas Tolentino Parish must be your favorite, sya yung headmast mo kasi.🙂

I liked the San Nicolas stainglass kasi there’s people being burned alive. bagay na bagay sa heretical nature ng blog ko. hehehe… kapatid, nahihirapan akong mag-open ng blog mo. ambagal mabuksan.
    God bless!

  25. re lakeshore Mass — ako din, some weekends lang when i’m in town. lalo na pag si Father Deo Galang ang nagmimisa. alam mo ba na sya lang ang nakapagpabalik sa kin sa pagsisimba😦 i feel that the way he delivers the gospel is very practical and not “condemning” and patronizing (hope you don’t mind my sharing this). each time, i leave the church intellectually stimulated, inspired with an answer to a question, or, at the very least with a new thought to reflect on. i love how even the young church goers get something from his messages. tingin ko pag ikaw ang nagmisa, ganito ka rin😉
